GeoMe is committed to protecting your privacy. Please read the GeoMe Privacy Policy below in reference to the GeoMe sites and services that you may use.

Effective Date: 9th June 2008

Introduction: Welcome to GeoMe! GeoMe Communications S.L. (“GeoMe”) offers its GeoMe service (the “GeoMe Service”) to users of mobile devices utilizing GeoMe’s software (“Users”). The GeoMe Service is a social networking, search and location based suite of integrated mobile and web applications that enable users to share, view and upload pictures, video, text and points of interest with a tag to the user’s geographic location. Users can then (i) set up unique personal profiles that can be linked together through networks or clusters of friends, (ii) map and navigate to people, places and points of interest, (iii) share photos, videos and audio and post journals and comments. Location of Your Information: We collect, process, and maintain your information in the United States and other countries, where privacy laws may not be as protective as in your home country. By submitting personal information to GeoMe, you consent to the transfer, storage, use, and disclosure of your personal information, as described in this Privacy Policy, in the United States or any other country selected by GeoMe. Collection and Use of Information: GeoMe may collect certain information from you as described below. GeoMe uses information it collects for authentication purposes, to customize the advertising and content you see, to fulfill your requests for products and services, to provide aggregated and anonymous reporting for GeoMe or its third party partners, to improve the GeoMe Service, and to communicate with you regarding GeoMe services.

* Registration Information: GeoMe collects personal information you knowingly choose to submit to us during registration and thereafter, such as your name, screen name, email address, telephone numbers and age, to authenticate Users, send notifications to Users relating to the GeoMe service, to manage each user’s account and to facilitate our compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

* Profile Information: GeoMe also collects user profile data, including but not limited to personal interests and search criteria, gender, education, occupation, and physical location coordinates in order to assist Users in locating and communicating with each other and identifying common interests among users. User profile information, including Users’ pictures and display names, are displayed to people in order to facilitate interaction through the GeoMe social networking community. Email addresses are used when existing Users invite new friends to join the GeoMe Service, and to send notifications, updates, and newsletters related to the GeoMe Service.

* User-Provided Content: You post User Content on the Service at your own risk. Although we offer privacy setting options to limit access to your pages, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you choose to share your pages or information. Accordingly, there is a risk that your Content may be viewed by unauthorized persons or disclosed publicly. Even after removal, copies of User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content on their own computers.

* Location and Non-Personally Identifiable Information: GeoMe also collects non-personally identifiable information, such as physical location, IP address, aggregate user data, and equipment/software configuration from Users. The data is used to manage and improve the Service and track usage. This non-personally identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to Users. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.

* Cookies: A “cookie” is a small data file that can be placed on your hard drive when you visit certain Internet sites. GeoMe uses cookies to collect, store, and sometimes track information for statistical purposes, to operate and improve the products and services we provide, to manage our network, to authenticate you when you use the Site, remember your preferences and registration information, and to customize the content of advertisements provided to you on the Site. Please note that if you reject or disable cookies in your Web browser, you may not be able to use the GeoMe Service. Third party advertisers may use their own cookies, subject to their own privacy policies. We do not control use of these cookies and expressly disclaim responsibility for their content and use.

* Log Files/Browser Information: Every time you visit an Internet location page on the Internet, your Web browser sends information to the Web site you are visiting. GeoMe servers automatically collect and store this information, including your IP address, hardware platform, type of browser software and settings, Internet service provider, the pages you visit at GeoMe, and information from GeoMe Cookies. We may associate this information with your personal information to resolve technical issues and promote security for our Users.

* Third-Party Data: GeoMe may also supplement Users’ profile information with other consumer data, such as ZIP codes, demographic data, and other publicly available information obtained from third parties. GeoMe uses this information to develop, administer and deliver our products and services and to permit third parties to deliver their products and services.

Sharing of Information:

* Third-Party Vendors: Some GeoMe products and services may be offered to Users in conjunction with affiliates or third-party vendors. To provide these products and services, GeoMe may share Users’ e-mail addresses and mobile telephone numbers and aggregated non-identifiable consumer information with select third-party vendors. These third-party vendors may need to collect and maintain your personal information, but third-party vendors are not allowed to use or disclose GeoMe data for any commercial or marketing purposes other than to offer GeoMe-approved products or services to Users and to administer and improve such programs.

* Third-Party Advertisers: GeoMe may generate aggregate profiles from information provided during registration, online surveys, and promotions. We may use this aggregated and non-identifying information, together with information on each User’s physical location, to display advertisements that appear on Users’ mobile devices. GeoMe may also share non-identifiable profile information with advertisers and other third parties in order to present Users with more targeted advertising, products, and services. Advertisements that appear on our Service may be delivered to Users by GeoMe or by the third party advertisers through network advertising services. Third party advertisers that deliver advertisements directly to Users automatically receive the IP address associated with your computer. These third party advertisers may also download cookies to your computer, or use other technologies such as Java Script and “web beacons” to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to tailor advertising content. GeoMe does not have access to or control the cookies that may be placed by third party advertisers. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by GeoMe and does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by advertisers.

* Special cases for sharing information: GeoMe may disclose personal information or information regarding the use of its services if, for any reason, in our sole discretion, we believe that it is necessary to do so in order to satisfy laws, regulations, or other legal requests for such information; to cooperate with law enforcement agencies; to disclose information that is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our Terms of Use or other policies; to operate the GeoMe Service; to protect GeoMe, our services, our employees, or our Users; or in connection with a proceeding, transaction or proposed transaction involving the transfer of the business or assets to which the information pertains. Links: The GeoMe Service may provide links to other services, including links that may be placed by GeoMe, third-party advertisers, and other Users. GeoMe is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices of any other service.

Children’s Privacy: The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act restricts the collection and use of personal information pertaining to children under the age of 13. We do not allow such children to register as Users and will not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. No one under the age of 13 should provide any personal information to or on GeoMe. In the event we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will terminate the account and delete the information. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@geo-me.com. Minors aged 13 and over should not use our service or post any User Content without adult supervision.

Changing or Removing Information: Access and control over most personal information on GeoMe is available through profile editing tools. GeoMe Users may modify or delete their profile information or deactivate their account at any time by logging into their account. Deleted information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time, but will not be generally available to Users of GeoMe. However, even after deletion, copies of User Content may remain viewable on the GeoMe Service and in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content.

Email choice/Opt-out: Users who no longer wish to receive GeoMe email updates or notifications may opt-out of receiving these communications following the instructions contained in the applicable email or by logging-in and changing their account settings and deselecting the option: “Send occasional informational emails from GeoMe”. You may exercise your option to stop the use of your information for marketing by GeoMe and disclosures by GeoMe to third party vendors and advertisers. To opt out of GeoMe marketing and disclosures, you may complete the opt-out page request form. Users who opt-out may still receive administrative or non-promotional service alert emails from GeoMe. Terms of Use, Notices and Revisions to Privacy Policy: Your use of the GeoMe Service, and any disputes arising from it, is subject to this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms and Conditions of Use. GeoMe reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify this Privacy Policy, our Terms and Conditions of Use, and our other policies and agreements at any time and in any manner. Any revision, amendment, or modification will be posted on our Web site. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you here, by email, and/or by means of a notice on our Site for a period of not less than thirty days prior to implementing the change. We encourage you to refer to this Privacy Policy on an ongoing basis for the latest information on our privacy practices.

Data Security: GeoMe takes reasonable precautions to protect our Users’ information. We use reasonable measures to protect member information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to member information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of member account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of member information at any time. “
