23.08.2008: GeoMe® enters TeleAtlas LBS Out-of-the-Box European Developer Challenge

GeoMe® is proud to announce that it has entered the European edition of the successful Tele Atlas Innovator Series. The contest is for both mobile and Web applications that include mapping or location as a functionality enhancement and includes two categories, Market Ready and Disruptive Innovation. Location adds value to a wide range of consumer and enterprise applications – social networking, travel, points of interest, real-time traffic, personal security, and more. Through this competition, Tele Atlas is searching for new applications from new sources that capitalise on LBS. Prizes to be won include six development envelopes of €8,000, two grand finalist prizes of €20,000, a free map license for one year up to a value of €25K in the EMEA region and showcasing of applications on the Tele Atlas stand at MWC 2009, Barcelona
