The article mentions the increasing trend for tech start-ups to seek the backing of business incubators in order to give them an extra edge. 25th February 2009 - GeoMe will be present at Plugg, a one-day conference on March 12th in Brussels with a clear focus on celebrating entrepreneurship and innovation in Europe and raising global awareness for those European start-ups in the Web / Mobile 2.0 field that stand out in the crop.

Plugg aims to provide a hands-on view on what's happening in Europe, what the continent's (dis)advantages are compared to other regions and what the future will hold for its digital industry.

October 2008: GeoMe is proud to have become the latest firm to be officially endorsed by LaSalle University Technology Park as part of the Technology Start-up programme. So far, the programme has analysed more than 200 projects (including Linquia and The Channer), helped create more than 70 start-ups and raised more than €15m in financing. As member of the CIDEM network, the Technology Park also provides entrepreneurial coaching and access to a wide business network to assist start-ups in launching their activities.
